Adding a content type to a search

Hi all -

I have a content type called a sidebar. I need to give users the ability to add links to items of the File content type. The only default they can search now is another page type. How can I add File to the search so they can also search for Files? I’ve done this in the past and can’t seem to figure out how to do this!

If I understand your question, you need to add “allowable content” to the slot.

Is this 5.7 or 6.x ?

And in 5.x, it’s on the “System Tab” not in the Workbench.

I found it and it worked. Thanks everyone for your help. (I’m in 5.7 so it was under the System tab).
