child editor

hi all

has anybody implemented one of these before.

i have just added a child field (sys_table) to one of my content editors and added a couple of mappings.

when i create a new item, the timetable (child editor) in the content editor shows with a label only - there is no control next to it and no way of using it.

I don’t really understand how this is supposed to work as I haven’t seen an example of it anywhere.

can anybody help please.

Hi Michelle

Can you specify which version of Rhythmyx you are using?

You can’t enter content into the child table until the parent item has been initially saved.

i’m using 5.7. i’ll try saving content item then and see what happens.
