Error - A script on this page may be busy

One of my website content editors is receiving an error when he navigates through to link to an Asset (a .pdf).

— error begin -----

A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now. open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue.

Script: http://snsucm1.nsu.edu:9999/cm/jslibM…

— error end-----

What could be causing this?

Debbie,

This type of issue is typically due to some sort of conflict on the user’s local machine. It could be that the browser has plugins. It could be a cached version of the javascript is stored locally and needs to be refreshed. Start by having the user disable any browser plugins, have them clear their cache and validate that you aren’t seeing this problem when other users open the asset.

Thank you, I’m going to add these to my troubleshooting guide.
