global template problem

hi all

a new global template is not being applied to my variant.

when i preview the variant, there is no site id or folder id in the url - what have i missed?

also sys_siteid is showing as 0 in the xml.

Michelle,

To start with two basic possibilities:

Did you attempt to preview from a Site Folder? Content Item’s previewed from under the Folders Node will not have a Site ID. Without a Site ID, Rhythmyx cannot apply a Global Template

Is the Global Template associated with the Community of the Content Item you were previewing?

i set up a specific action menu for the site and it seems to all be working now.
