Has there been any discussion on when CM1 will become HTML 5 compliant?

We support HTML5 tags but are not yet fully complaint. What are you looking to solve using HTML 5 support ? Certainly helps us to hear of a real use case.
I don’t have anything specific in mind at this point. I just sent my web designer on an HTML 5 training course. I’m hesitant to spend much time planning a project that depends on HTML 5 until I know that CM1 will support it.
This is planned for v2.7, roughly by June 2012. More to come…
