locale number format

hi all

i have managed to use the sys_ConvertDateLocale function to accommodate dates from all three of our languages. I need to do something similar with numbers entered by users. Is there a format number function which can be used for this.

I’m not aware of anything out-of-the-box that would provide this functionality.

Not that it helps Michelle, but there’s a Velocity number tool ($tools.number) that performs this function for those using 6.x.
