Hi Dave

In future releases of Rhythmyx will there be any functionality to create scheduled publishes without having to rely on a windows scheduled task?

We’ve been asked by a client as they believe the ability to schedule publishing should be an integral part of the product.

I know we’ve discussed this, but I’m not sure where we currently stand on this.

I suggest you send a reminder message to ideas@percussion.com just in case.

I spoke with our Director of Development, and this feature is currently planned for the next release.

Our customer has again enquired about scheduled publishing.

I know it was planned to be introduced, but could anyone confirm whether it will definately be available in the next release?

There are going to be a lot of changes to the publishing engine in RX 7, but this is unlikely to be launched for at least another year.

Georgina,

I believe that the functionality that Tanya asked about is part of Rhythmyx 6.6, not Rhythmyx 7.

That release will come out this year.
