It looks like FTP is built into Rhythmyx but not SFTP. Am I missing something? With hundreds of departmental servers, we’re hesitant to install hundreds of remote publishers or set up hundreds of SSH tunnels or map hundreds of drives, when adding SFTP support to Rhythmyx would eliminate our problem. If SFTP isn’t supported yet, when will it be?
It’s on the list for the next release.
In the meantime, there’s a SFTP publisher plugin that we’ve given to customers who need this functionality. Ask your PSO contact (or Tech Support) for a copy. Some bits are version specific, so we’ll want to make sure you get the correct one.
