This can be caused by allowing desktop interaction on Windows services. If you experience the console upon logging in, you should modify the service properties to disable it. If the console appears upon logging in, it will also shut down when logging out causing your CM1 server to stop.
To disable this, first open Computer Management using one of the following methods:
Click Start > Run. Type “compmgmt.msc” and press Enter.
Browse Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools and open “Computer Management”
Right click on “My Computer” anywhere and select “Manage”
In the management console, expand Services and Applications and select “Services” from the left pane.
Locate the “Percussion Service” from the services list, right click on it, and select “Properties.”
On the Log On tab, locate the “Allow service to interact with desktop” checkbox and uncheck it.
Click Ok all the way out and restart the “Percussion Service.” Close the management console.
This should prevent the console from showing and should also prevent the service from shutting down on Log out.
