We are receving an HTTP 500 Internal Server Error when trying to login to the content explorer with a user name that has an apostrophe in her surname. Is this a known issue and what are the workarounds? The version of Rhythmyx we are running is 5.7.
Which security provider are you using? there are some differences between LDAP / Active Directory and the Backend Table provider.
There have been some issues with special (non-alphanumeric) characters in both user ids and passwords. This varies greatly by release and by “security provider”. Unfortunately, I cannot find anyone here who knows definitively which characters work in which places.
I suggest you open a support case, somebody will have to be assigned to track this down. I’ll make sure that the answer gets posted here are well.
