Does anyone know if there is any way to get e-mail alerts when someone posts a comment on a blog post?

Currently, there is no way to have comments trigger an email notification. This seems like a natural addition to the comments functionality, and so I’ve gone ahead and converted this topic into an Idea so that other customers can vote on this proposed functionality.
