It would be nice if breadcrumbs could have an option to display the current page even if the current page is not part of the section navigation. Things like press releases, knowledge base articles, blog posts, legal disclaimers, and other information oriented pages live inside of folders but not in the navigation tree.
Right now, the breadcrumb widget has no knowledge of these kind of pages so the usefulness of the widget is lost when the visitor lands on one of these pages.
Alternatively, these pages could show in the navigation tree but there would be an option from that view where the page could be selected to either show up or not show up in site navigation menus.
