I have the widget set to display Home, but clicking on Home in the breadcrumb does not bring me home. it brings me to the URL of [current page]/#

Are any of the items you are linking to such as the home page in quick edit or draft mode when the navigation was published?
If they are, can you try approving or publishing those pages directly and then republishing the page with the # in the breadcrumb?
