I was wondering if there’s a way to chain editions one after another.
Once my FTP publishing edition finishes (and is successful) I want to start a database publishing edition.
This can’t be combined into one edition because the Sites are different.
I don’t know if you can chain editions but we have managed to mix database and site folder publishing by specifying the sys_siteid in the database content lists and adding them to the main publish runs
This was suggested by PSO consultant and seems to work ok for us
Example database contentlist url:
/Rhythmyx/contentlist?sys_siteid=325&sys_deliverytype=database&sys_contentlist=DbProgrammeFull
That may work for us - doesn’t make them dependent but at least it’s sequential.
