The Comparison Page supports the comparison of different revisions of the same content item, but is there also a way to compare different content items? This would come in handy when dealing with Promotable Versions.
The “Compare” menu entries seem to give a hint that it is possible to compare different content items. For instance, the description for the “View_EICompare” menu entry is “Compare two items or revisons [sic] from EI site.” Also, the “Support multi-select” box is checked for that menu entry, but if I select two content items, that menu entry is not available.
