Content Explorer error message in raw XML?

I’ve got a question about an error message that’s appearing in the Content Explorer. When I attempt to edit a document that’s checked out by someone else, I get an error message (which makes sense). The error message appears in a new browser window, but is unformatted XML. Behavior is consistent in IE and Firefox. Here’s the text of the message:

<?xml version=“1.0” encoding=“utf-8” ?>
<PSXLogErrorSet class=“Request preprocessing” host=“cntmgtdev-00-ah.mathworks.com” port=“9992” protocol=“http” root="/Rhythmyx" rxroot=“http://cntmgtdev-00-ah.mathworks.com:9992/Rhythmyx”>
<Error id=“0”>An error occurred while pre-processing the request submitted by the host (-not available-).</Error>
<Error id=“1”>An exception occurred while processing the “Java/global/percussion/workflow/sys_wfAuthenticateUser” extension: com.percussion.security.PSAuthorizationException: Operation not allowed while the content is not checked out by you and you are not the administrator. An administrator might have overridden your checkout. You must go back and check-out the item again before attempting this operation…</Error>
</PSXLogErrorSet>

Is this a known issue? Is there a configuration change I can make that will make this message this more user-friendly?

Thanks,
Kathleen
