Looking for a solution that would allow me to restrict the creation of certain Content Types to a defined Folder. I have read the Feature Request; however, I have not found any viable solution. Has anyone attempted to create a solution?
One slightly roundabout way that we do this is to have a separate community and associated role for each content type, and then configure write access to the folders based on the roles. The end result is that only people with the specified role (and thus in the specified community) can write to the folder.
If you have multiple content types in a community, this is more tricky. Maybe you can still use roles for folder access somehow.
