Copy as link conundrum

Hi there,
If an item (e.g. file) exists in one folder and then is copied into a secondary folder using ‘copy as link’, when published (site folder publishing) it will be published to both folders - the original and the secondary.

However, if we create a CMS link to this item from an article, when published the link always points to the item in the original folder.

Is there a way to have the link specifically pointed to the ‘copy as link’ item in the secondary folder?

Igor,

If you use the Content Browser to create the link, you can check the Include folder in the link checkbox when creating the link to ensure it goes the Content Item in the specific folder.
