For some reason, my custom styles were wiped for good after we upgraded from 4.0.5 to 4.1
Do we have to manually add it on every updates? Please let me know.

Aaron,
Are you saying that your entries on the PercRichTextCustomStyles.properties file were removed? If so, I would consider that a bug. That file should not be being overwritten on upgrade.
However, if what you are saying is that you modified one of the delivered Percussion CSS files, then that is expected behavior. We advise people not to modify those files as they are managed by Percussion as part of the install and upgrade process.
Please clarify so we can log a bug if needed or advise you how to make a copy of the Percussion theme.
I saved it in ```/rx_resources/css/PercRichTextCustomStyles.properties
from this <a href="http://help.percussion.com/site-design/creating-percussion-themes/creating-custom-styles-in-a-rich-text-widget/index" rel="nofollow">http://help.percussion.com/site-desig...</a> page. If I did it wrong, please let me know. Thanks!</percussion>
Before you file the bug, do you want to test it out yourself? From 4.0.5 to 4.1.4?
Let me clarify my question. NOw that you’ve upgraded, if you open the PercRichTextCustomStyles.properties file, are your custom styles gone? If so, that is a bug.
Yes, it’s gone.
@dan - any update on this? Last week, we upgraded to 4.3 and the custom styles disappeared again. I thought this shouldn’t happened again.
Aaron, unfortunately this was a larger issue for us to address. There are a whole set of files that our installer did not have the ability to upgrade and preserve customer changes. As a result it is more costly for us to address this comprehensively. We will be addressing it in an upcoming release. We will do better to include this information in the release notes and upgrade instructions.
Thank you! Do keep me posted.
