Date formats with Oracle

Hi,

First post to this forum and it’s to request a favour …

We recently migrated our SQL database to Oracle and, after a busy few days, we’re almost there.

We have an error message in the log files saying that the date is not in the correct format? Is there someone out there with an Oracle database who can just check any of the date fields and let me know what format they’re in? We have TIMESTAMP(6) at the moment.

Oracle Date columns should be “DATE” not “TIMESTAMP”.
