why does publishing (via an open page being edited) or approving direct one to a blank page? shouldn’t it direct you back to the page you just published or approved instead?
The thought behind this was that this would make it clear to the user that their action was complete. Personally, I find this frustrating, but I haven’t heard feedback from users/customers that this is a problem. Feel free to enter this as an enhancement suggestion and we can see if others vote for it.
I agree that it is definitely frustrating…the funny thing is, to me, the blank page leaves me wondering if the action actually completed or not…the opposite of what you’re suggesting why the blank page was used.
Why not just give them a status message stating “Your action completed successfully” ?
I will certainly post it as a suggestion. Thanks.
