I do not know how to word it properly but I hope this video will help. The reason we drag n drop because the file is already linked to few pages. It won’t make sense for me to trash it and re-upload to different place then re-link it in few pages, too. Too time consuming…

Just to add to Keith’s comment, an improvement to the UI allowing ‘drag scrolling’, or a traditional copy/paste function (removing the need to drag altogether) would resolve this.
