A client came across a problem this week where EditLive was using the b and i tags and that they got a an accessibility compliance error. They wanted to know if there was a way to switch over to strong and em instead to resolve this compliance error. I searched on the Ephox site and was not able to find anything, but the client was able to find something. There is a configuration setting in elj_config.xml that can switch between using b/i or strong/em.
In [RxRoot]\rx_resources\ephox\elj_config.xml when the logicalEmphasis field is set to true in the htmlFilter tag, the bold and italic buttons will result in the use of the strong and em tags in the HTML. Conversely when the logicalEmphasis field is set to false the use of the b and i tags will be used.
