We have some Image content items. However, when we try to search through the edit live editor by clicking on the Yellow icon for Insert Rhythmyx Inline image, it is not able to find those images. Not sure do we have to make any updates as this is a fresh install of Rhythmyx instance.

Did you index the Content Type after the installation?
How long after your added the Content Items did you try to search? Sometimes the indexer takes a little while to process Content Items in the index queue.
