Finding Your Page: Search!

Many websites have thousands of associated pages. It can take a considerable amount of time to look through the “Unassigned” list on the left side of the Design Workflow. The Unassigned list doesn’t place the pages in alphabetical order, so you may have to click through several results before you find the page you’re looking for.

I think it would make life much easier, if CM1 had a search function in the Unassigned list. For example: Say you’re looking for the “Accounts Payable” page. It would be nice if you could start typing the word “Accounts”, and the results become filtered to show names only matching the search criteria.

I think this would be a very natural addition to the unassigned templates menu, thanks for posting! To add to this, it would also be useful to be able to sort the results alphabetically as well as by import time / date (which is default). Lastly, and this may well warrant it’s own post, it would be great to be able to drag unassigned pages (or any page, really) directly from the Finder over a template and drop in order to assign a page to a new template.
