First post - Needing some starting points

I just inherited (as an Administrator,) a badly managed Percussion CM1 installation which is very old. Our sales-rep is telling us we need to upgrade in order to utilize mobile site features. Fair enough :wink:

I checked the online docs for upgrade paths and instructions and saw only 3.1+ instructions, referring me to the forums for instructions on prior versions.

Two problems -

First, I havenā€™t seen / havenā€™t had any luck with search locating those documents.

Second, I donā€™t actually know what version my Percussion CM1 installation is - didnā€™t see anything in the UI - performing a grep for ā€œV|versionā€ in the installation directory got me a tremendous amount of results, lots of things have version, and this is day 1 of me administering Percussion, so I simply do not know what is what, or what is an artifact of a past failed upgrade, etc. :wink:

How can I check my current version and where can I find some 2.x -> 3.1 upgrade instructions?

Hi Andy,

First, to answer you question, in the server installation directory there is a file called Version.properies. This will indicate the correct version of the product. There is also an ā€œAboutā€ menu item in the upper right of the UI when you login that will display the version. The upgrade directions are here.
