Hide Searches in Navigation pane

Hello,

Is there a way to hide available searches in the Navigation pane?

Has anybody tried this…I tried the community visibility to not show the searches in the navigation pane under searches , but they still show up. I want to remove them as it would be confusing to users.

You should probably ensure that all-encompassing ACLs are disabled, such as “AnyCommunity”.

You can control search visibility via the workbench.

To control our “Sample custom search” visibility, open the workbench and find the search under UI Elements Design. Right click it and click Security.

You will be presented with a dialog which allows you to control visibility. Set these according to your requirements.

Your search should be visible to only the communities and roles you specify.
