How can I improve or track the results of my SEO?

Is there anyway to have the results for sections (sites) within the site?

Can you elaborate? I am not sure what you mean.

The site is sectioned off into different sites, and I noticed that the information returned only displays the overall hits. I just had a department ask if I could isolate only their website numbers for them. Is this possible using the Traffic Gadget or is it only going to give me the overall numbers?

Many of the gadgets have the ability to specify the site you want the data to come from. On the gadget toolbar you will find an arrow on the right that provides a menu with one of the options being the Settings. You can change the site in the drop down for the settings and when you save it, it will refresh the gadget to show only the data within that web site.

The one thing many of the gadgets do not do is allow you to specify a specific section of the site to only report from. They work to report the data for the whole website and do not allow you to target the information from only a piece of the site.

In the Google Webmaster Tools I set up a profile for each section {Website in the main website} and it’s giving me the stats I was looking for. It uses our SEO in CM1.

CM1 is packaged with an SEO Audit Gadget to help provide you with guidance on SEO related items while working with pages and assets. This gadget will help identify items missing or areas that need to be addressed to help ensure successful SEO. Please see our guide on our SEO Audit Gadget for more information.
