It would be really nice if we could select a template in the design area and then click Actions - Duplicate/Copy.
This would make cloning a template a lot easier. I know all you have to do is export and import but then I have to setup my regions again.

Actually creating a copy of a template is similar to what your asking for. Under actions if you were to select add a template you can select one of your sites under the drop-down (by default percussion is selected) and ifb you selected a template from one of your sites cm1 would create a copy of that template.
