How to unpublish if filename is changed or item is moved to a different folder?

What’s the best practice to “unpublish” under these scenarios?

a) The filename field of an item is changed.

b) An item is moved to a different folder or unlinked from a folder.

I noticed this problem too. There’s another scenario where an item has been published, then the user expires the item, then immediately purges the item BEFORE an edition can unpublish the item.

I don’t really want to make a feature request in 6.5.2. Percussion gurus… any word on this behavior in 6.6?

I just touch the filename that Rhythmyx is trying to unpublish. I agree it’s not ideal but at least it allows the unpublish to run and clear the error.
