With the adoption of 64-bit operating systems increasing, what is the likely hood of your organization moving to 64 bit platforms for your servers? (1 year, 2 years, 5 years?)
If CM System server only support 64-bit OS in a future release, how does that impact your implementation? Would you hold off upgrading because you were not able to acquire the hardware?
We’ve already moved all of our other web platform servers to 64-bit Windows 2008. We’d love to move our Rhythmyx 6.7 server to 64-bit as this will allow us to take advantage of the > 1GB limit on 32-bit JRE. The only thing holding us back is the lack of recognised support from Percussion for both the CM and associated workbench tools
