Image Widget Title and Alt attribute issue

Please see screenshot attached.

I changed from “college-night.jpg” to “Welcome Future College Students and Families” in Title Text field, published it and it still showed “college-night.jpg”. I am using Percussion’s Image Widget.

Also, why is “ALT” tag blank?

Is this intended or buggy? 

EDIT: I updated by replacing Image Widget using RTE (Rich Text Editor) that support ALT and Title attribute. I would revise the Percussion’s Image Widget to update ALT/Title.

Also, this is part of Section 508. Please advise…

Aaron,

The Image Widget provides support for both the Alt and Title attributes.  The widget also supports providing a default title to use for links to the Image.  In order for these attributes to be published the attributes must be populated on the Widget.
