Is there a way the image widget could have the ability to add a link to the image?

This would also need to include needing to set the border width so the border can be taken off or added.

This could be added into the metadata area or maybe just a section added that could include the link url and other features, like destination (_blank, etc).

We use a lot of buttons on our site and this would make things easier for adding these buttons.

That’s a good one, and we plan to add it. For now, you have to use the Rich Text Widget, and put the Image inline and then use the link button to add a link to it. We have some link options like _blank in some other contexts already (e.g. navigation section links) so pretty much any time we have a link we try to make those possible.
