We, and others, have found MSM pretty slow when packaging items.
Is there a way to improve this?

It would also be really helpful if the complexity of MSM was reduced. It takes quite a lot of getting used to and does not encourage a professional development environment because people don’t have the patience to do a package each time they do a change.
Is there a better way to set up automatic packages from a development environment to a test server?
