In Active Assembly GUI, can you create new snippet in a different folder?

The subject line pretty much says it all. In the AA interface, when one uses the “New Snippet” option, it seems the behavior is that the item always gets created in the same folder as the content item you’re editing and the “Folder” field in the dialog box that comes up is not editable. Is there any way to change this? If one is inserting an image, for example, often times you will want to put these in central folders rather than in the same folder as the content item.

I can see your reason for wanting to, but there is currently no way to do that.
