The search functionality for LDAP user import is somewhat non-user-friendly. Let’s say I have a user “john.doe” in AD and I want to import that account into CM1 users.
If I type “john” or “*doe” into the search field and click Search, his account shows up.
However, if I type “doe” into the search field and click Search, his account does not show up.
I think it would be infinitely useful to add some bit of functionality to this search:
- Allow me to search for any part of the username (not just the beginning of it)
- Allow me to search by other fields within LDAP/AD (like last name or first name)
