Long-shot: Using 6.6 through a proxy

Hi all,

the installation I am working on has a curious set-up: the 6.6 server is installed at a host that is both physically and logically remote from the people who log into it.

They report a number of odd behaviours, most of which seem due to their OS setup, but I notice that they get a proxy log-in window when EditLive loads up. Now that I’m watching over their shoulders everything is behaving normally, but:

has anyone seen this type of proxy window before and does it lead to problems?

Hi Oliver

Your proxy server is trying to authenticate the Rhythmyx box as it’s loading the ephox configuration file. This has normally been dealt with by setting a rule on the proxy server not to authenticate against the Rhythmyx server.
