When I open Publish, then double click on a site to work on its servers and I get ‘Error
The server you are trying to act on no longer exists in the system.’
Publish was working when I left yesterday afternoon. I’m waiting to hear from one other admin to see if he’s seen anything else. I have restarted the application without any luck. Did another admin delete it by mistake, possibly?
Yesterday, I created a second site: space for major re-design work. This was not tied to a publishing server. Is this my problem? Both sites were listed under Publish yesterday afternoon with our main site as the Publish Now.
Should I:
- Restart the server?
- Restore backup?
- Delete the second site?
