navtree not appearing in popup menu

I am logged in to the Content Explorer with the role of admin, but if I right-click on the site, and then choose ‘New Item’ in the popup menu, I don’t get ‘NavTree’ as one of the options.

Does anyone know why? The documentation says it should be there.

I’ve actually tried clicking on both the sites in my Content Explorer, and tried a couple of different admin communities, and all that shows up in that popup menu is the content types that were created in the workbench.

Are you also logged in to an admin Community with access to the Navigation Content Types?

That was my problem. I dragged the navtree and navon content types to my community, and then restarted IE, and now they are in the popup menu as described.
