We are running an older software package for our news. We’ve had some issues with it lately and the company that developed it are no longer in business. What is everyone using for news articles from the Public Information department.

Have you tried using the Blog that is built into Percussion CM1?
If so, what features are missing from that that you would need to be able to replace this older software you are referencing?

Well the lack of a good user rights keeps me from using it. I need the news area only viewable by the individuals that are suppose to be writing everything. With the way Percussion currently handles permissions, any user can look at any page but they can only edit what they have permissions to edit.

That is correct - we have had multiple requests for site visibility to be added as a feature.
