override body tag css

Our CSS has the body tag with a background image. We would like a template without anything but a white background. I’ve tried over-riding it in the template to no avail.
Any ideas out there?

Go to your site design:

  • select the Style Tab
  • select the Override Theme CSS
  • try putting: !IMPORTANT; beside your override.

When I want a complete blank,  I create a new design based upon the percussion Plain design.
(Design > Add Template > Percussion Templates > Base > Plain (midway).
