Publishing in 6.6

Hi guys,

Can anyone tell me if we need to reconfigure publishing if moving from 6.5.2 to 6.6 - or will our 6.5.2 set-up remain supported (but possible to update to 6.6 parallel) much in the same way legacy 5.7 is supported in 6.5.2?

It depends on your configuration. Unless you use any of the following, your 6.5.2 setup should work in 6.6 w/o modification.

The timeout or passive properties for ftp have to be manually moved
Custom publishers need to be ‘wrapped’ in a provided wrapper class to work in the new framework
Editions using PSO SFTP must be changed to use the built-in SFTP
Remote publishers are no longer supported
