If a page is in Draft or Quick Edit status, and template content is changed, will that template change publish on the next Incremental, or does the page need to be Pending?
Pages in Draft or Quick Edit status don’t get pulled into an incremental publish.
Any Template changes to the Layout do not queue that template’s pages for incremental publish.
However, a change to a Template’s Content, such as an edit to a rich text widget in the Content Tab of a Template, will queue that Template’s pages for incremental publish but only those pages that are in Pending or Approved status.
