We have a user who is a super user of community A, and only an editor in community B.
If she logs into community B she sees the Quick Edit menu option because it is set to be visible for super users of community A. However, because she doesn’t have the permissions in community B, she obviously gets an error when she tries to use it.
Is this the behaviour you would expect or is there something amiss with our setup? Ideally we’d like this to be invisible to her when in community B.

The behavior you’re reporting sounds like a bug to me. If any context would hide the menu entry, it should be hidden. I would contact Tech Support to investigate this issue further.
