I’d like to see a construct that would allow me to define a collection of content lists that I could then add to multiple different editions. Ideally, when a collection is changed, the editions would reflect that immediately (i.e. instead of iterating through content lists directly, an edition would iterate through collections, iterating through content lists for each collection).
Since I have multiple editions with the exact same content list collections (unfortunately, mirror editions cannot satisfy the needs of this company – we don’t always publish to the same edition first), this would save me some time when setting up publishing for new content types. And, this would become even more helpful if combined with my suggestion about moving Incremental and Item Filter settings to the Edition level.
