Rx and 64-bit Windows server

Hello

We have been having issues with Java heap space errors which we eventually found out were caused by anti-virus software claiming more RAM thus preventing Java from accessing its allocated memory. It has been suggested to us that moving from 32-bit to 64-bit Windows would eliminate this issue.

Does anyone else run Rhythmyx on a 64-bit Windows server, and if so, have you experienced any problems with Java memory allocation?

Any advice would be welcome.

Thanks,
Cara

In TS we have both 32 and 64 bit windows VMs with many environments running on each. We have run into no memory issues with Java to-date. However, setting up and optimizing VMWare has been ‘educational’, to say the least.

It isn’t Sophos by any chance?
