Search for workflow state

We need to search for all the items belong to a workflow state “Review”. I noticed that the default searches when filtered/ customized for the workflow state name, they pull results only for Draft or Public state content items. So we are missing items in the Review state.

Do we need to anything to make the items in other states to show up in the result set of searches?

Create a new custom search (Searches > New Search > Customize) and add the “workflow state name” field. Note that this will not return results that are in “Quick Edit”… at least it didn’t (http://forum.percussion.com/showthread.php?536-Search-on-Workflow-Quick-Edit-State&highlight=search+workflow+state).
