The article you linked to is more geared towards creating an image gallery than an image slider. If that is what you’re interested in, you might want to take a look at this more recent image gallery document we have:
Currently we don’t have any guides specifically for implementing jQuery sliders in CM1. Is there a particular issue or question surrounding this that we could help you with?
Thanks Matt- I have easyslider working and also Slidorion (which I think we will use more often). My problems with the sliders came from the added “perc” verbiage around divs–so when I simply put in an HTML block everything worked fine.
With the bxslider I have a RichText widget setup and I have used the <> area to put some predefined code in with a UL and then just add images. I did this so that our Public Information department could update our front slider quickly.
fyi, I have implemented the FlexSlider image slider (http://flexslider.woothemes.com/thumb…) successfully using 2 image auto list widgets within CM1.
