sys_CheckboxTreeJs control is not displaying when viewing content

I am using the javascript checkbox tree control, but nothing is being shown when viewing an item’s content (Right click -> view content). The control works correctly when editing an item, and values are being saved to the database.

Has anybody else run into this problem, or have any ideas on how to go about troubleshooting this? Unfortunately, the technical reference manual does not appear to include any information for this control.

I’m running version 7.3, patch 730_20150518.

Looking into this further, I’m also seeing this same behavior for sys_CheckboxTree controls.

Are checkbox tree controls (either variety) showing up correctly when viewing content items for anybody who is running patch 730_20150518?
