Two sites mapped to one folder & links

I have a root folder mapped to two sites, one for a filesystem publish, and one for a database publish.

Whenever I create a an inline link, or set up a navon’s landing page, each content item is listed twice - once for each site.

I don’t ever want an author linking to a content item with the database site association. Is there a way to remove that site from the search results, or another approach that would solve my issue?

You need to remove the siteid from the display format that you are using for the search.

Won’t this cause problems with cross-site links, as the ID of the site will not be recorded in the relationship that is created whenever someone adds an item to anther item’s slot?
